Here are the top 5 things you should know about BRIK.

Number 1:

A “brick” workout refers to the stacking of two disciplines during the same workout, one after the other with minimal to no interruption in between. As you switch modes of exercise, your body needs to effectively and efficiently prepare for the next demand while recovering from the previous exercise demand. Your heart rate increases significantly as your body tries to shift the blood flow from the muscles of the first exercise to the demands of the muscles of the next. Brick workouts help your body handle the aerobic, anaerobic, and muscular demands of an event (such as a triathlon) or a workout.

Number 2:

At Kaia FIT, we strategically place these 6-week, intense training and conditioning “BRIK” sessions 3 times throughout the year to not only keep you on track with your optimal fitness goals, but also to generate enthusiasm and excitement around committing to an exercise and nutrition health plan.  Our coaches provide additional challenges and accountability during these sessions with fitness hacks, nutrition tips, shared recipes, detox week food swaps, small support groups with a lead coach, guided health food store tours, cooking demonstrations and so much more!

It’s about transformation.  No one has ever said they would prefer to be mediocre.  Why not join a genuine group of women to live your best life and be your best self?   Each 6-week session is loaded with innovative workouts specific to the season, and they are designed to increase your fitness level and get you excited about exercising again.  There is a wide range of workouts each week that include functional intense training (FIT), yoga, TRX, barre, and running that are focused on building core strength, flexibility, and explosive power.

Number 4:

At Kaia FIT South Reno, our 6-week “BRIK” sessions are more than just an intense workout or bootcamp.  There’s BRIK bonuses that include goal setting worksheets, customized nutritional plans, a seasonal BRIK cookbook, health assessments, measurements, before and after pictures, and a coach assigned to you for personal support.  You get the benefits of a personal trainer with the added bonus of being in a group setting with other women seeking similar success.
