Ways to stay on track after BRIK
#1: Celebrate your wins.
All too often we reach some pretty amazing milestones during this 6-week, transformative program we call BRIK, and we don’t take the time to STOP AND CELEBRATE! Yes, celebrate! How can you deny yourself the celebrations that are in order if you’ve lost 10 pounds? 20 pounds? Reduced your body fat percentage? Gained muscle mass? Slept regularly? Or just generally feel good about yourself?
So celebrate with a massage, pedicure, spa day, new fitness watch – whatever you want! Just celebrate!
#2: Stick with your NEW habits, not the old ones
If you’re feeling pretty amazing about yourself right now, do not go back to the behaviors and habits that led you astray in the first place. Keep drinking 100 ounces of water a day. Keep certain allergens out of your diet or those non-negotiable foods out of your cupboards. Continue coming to flow and the Saturday runs. Meditate at least 3 times a week. You made a lifestyle change for a reason. New habits are so hard to form, but all too easy to break. Find even better ways to live your best life and be your best self.
#3: Set NEW goals
If you’ve achieved the goals you set on January 1st – it’s time to raise the bar. Nothing is more certain you’ll plateau than saying “been there, done that.” Stay motivated through 2018 by constantly setting new goals. If you’re looking for inspiration, try reading any of these books:

Overall, remember the magic that has happened over this 6-week program. We focused on building strength and perserverance, physically and mentally. Many of us breathe a sigh of relief as we reach the end of BRIK. But this is only the beginning. So don’t look back. Keep your focus on your next big achievement.
